Ok, so my predictions were a bit off. Not much action today, or at least not as much as the hype leading up to it led me to believe. I guess I was basing my predictions on pre-cap days when it was actually possible to trade players.

Strike 1 for my predictions! I figured Cambell would resign with Buffalo. It hasn’t been announced yet who is headed to Buffalo, but this is a huge pickup for the Sharks. I would think Marleau is part of the deal.
I don’t think there will be too much activity at the deadline this year. The new CBA and cap make trades pretty tough for teams, but here’s my crack at what I think will happen at the deadline.
Let’s start with my Oilers.
Edmonton: The goal is to NOT finish in the bottom 5 this year and with Souray, Horcoff and Torres done for the year they should just give up now and preempt the rage I will have for the rest of the season watching them.
